So yes, this one drills in. It’s an owner’s fitting, not a rental fix. You get two, so the door is held at both tracks. One rule for using them: latch the door only when it’s manual, or after you’ve pulled the opener’s emergency release. Both bolts have to be slid back by hand before you drive out, so most people set them at night and before a trip. And it only covers the big door.
